Mobile Application Defensive Development
Trainees analyze an intentionally insecure mobile application against a subset of the OWASP Mobile Application Security Testing Guide, then plan and implement protection layers against reverse engineering and attack, across both Android and iOS.
Module Overview
Work with a deliberately insecure Android application, built on the development framework of your choice (Flutter, React, or others). You'll run static and dynamic testing against a subset of the OWASP Mobile Application Security Testing Guide, map out the attack vectors and paths an attacker could exploit, then plan and design the protection layers needed to make the application resilient to reverse engineering and attack.
Work with a deliberately insecure iOS application, analyzing it statically and dynamically against a subset of the OWASP Mobile Application Security Testing Guide. After mapping the attack vectors and paths an attacker could exploit, you'll plan and design the protection layers needed to shield the application against reverse engineering and attack, based on the risks identified.
